Ding Dong! GM's Congressional Godfather is Gone!

This is great news for the environment and for the future of energy efficient transportation. Dingell was a great advocate for universal health care and a bulldog on important issues for protection of consumers. But, he was an enabler of the (not so) big (anymore) three automakers addiction to gas guzzlers and intransigence when it came to doing anything progressive with their product.
